About Amy

Amy Abel, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and the owner of Woven Path Counseling, LLC, a private therapy practice that serves adults through both office and telehealth appointments. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and brings over a decade of experience as a therapist, along with several additional years in the mental health field.

Amy’s practice focuses on women’s mental health across the lifespan, including support for perinatal and postpartum challenges. She also works with women facing a broad range of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the stress of balancing multiple roles. While she specializes in women’s experiences, she welcomes and affirms individuals of all gender identities who may be navigating experiences traditionally associated with women’s health, such as pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, or reproductive concerns.

She integrates a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

Amy’s background also includes extensive experience as a child therapist. She is trained in attachment-based modalities such as Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and Theraplay. While she no longer works directly with children, this training enhances her ability to support individuals who seek guidance around parenting-related challenges.

About Miranda

With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I specialize in working with adolescent girls (16+) and women. I take a holistic, trauma-informed approach that goes beyond symptom management—helping clients understand root causes, build self-awareness, and tap into their own capacity for healing.

Connection is at the heart of my work, and I approach the therapeutic relationship with authenticity, empathy, and gentle guidance. Many of the women I work with describe feeling overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, or unsure why certain challenges keep repeating despite their best efforts. You may be new to therapy, continuing progress you’ve already made, or ready to explore deeper emotional work. Wherever you are in your journey, my goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and supported.

As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP), I support both mind and body by blending evidence-based therapy, mindfulness, and integrative practices. Together, we’ll explore concerns such as stress, trauma, self-doubt, relationship dynamics, and major life transitions, while developing practical coping strategies, self-care tools, self-compassion, emotion regulation skills, and deeper insight—at a pace that feels right for you. You remain the leader of your therapy, and no approach is introduced unless you feel comfortable with it.

Outside the therapy room, I’m grounded by nature, movement, and ongoing self-reflection. I believe healing can happen at any age when we allow ourselves to slow down, truly listen inward, and create space for our growth—and I’m honored to walk alongside women as they do just that.

About Kaelee

Many people carry the weight of self-doubt, shame, and disconnection from their authentic selves. My work at Changing Tides Counseling, LLC focuses on helping clients quiet the inner critic, cultivate self-compassion, and rebuild confidence and wholeness. I believe therapy should go beyond coping; it should be a safe, supportive space to be fully understood, develop practical tools, and grow into a life that feels more grounded, empowered, and true to who you are.

I work with adults and adolescents (10+) navigating a wide range of challenges, with particular focus on trauma recovery, stress and life transitions, anxiety and perfectionism, self-esteem and identity concerns, grief, relationship challenges, and LGBTQIA+ support. My goal is to meet clients wherever they are in their journey, helping them move toward healing and greater self-connection.

My practice integrates several trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches to support whole-person healing: Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialetical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused-CBT, Mindfulness, Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and other person-centered approaches. The heart of my work is helping clients develop self-compassion and embrace their full humanity.

You may occasionally be joined in session by my Italian Greyhound, Joey, whose gentle presence adds warmth to the therapy space. Many clients find his quiet companionship grounding and comforting.

I’m a multi-specialized, evidence-based therapist with over 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate complex emotional challenges, including borderline personality disorder (BPD), trauma, OCD, and issues related to overcontrol and perfectionism.

I offer Comprehensive DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), trained intensively through Marsha Linehan and her Behavioral Tech Institute, and Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT) with direct training from its developer, Tom Lynch. I also integrate other leading approaches, tailoring care to each person’s unique needs.

I work with young adults, adults, and older adults, offering both individual and group sessions, in-person or via secure telehealth. My approach is grounded in genuine empathy, nonjudgmental acceptance, and flexible commitment to your healing journey.

For clients who desire it, I thoughtfully integrate faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process, honoring your personal relationship with God as a resource for healing, strength, and deeper meaning.

My dog Stewart—a sweet, anxious photo bomber—often joins sessions and brings his own comforting presence.

Outside of session, I enjoy reading about world cultures and traveling globally. It’s my joy and honor to walk alongside clients as they reconnect with purpose, peace, and the life they want to live.
